Dog Invents Porch Package Checkpoint, Approves Every Box Personally

A dog began inspecting every delivery from a folding chair and now considers the porch a customs office.

What Happened

A dog discovered that sitting beside the porch could make every delivery look official and immediately appointed himself head of package inspection.

The household first thought the arrangement would last five minutes. Then somebody made a sign, assigned a title and added a shared spreadsheet. At that point the project had achieved administrative permanence.

Visitors now receive a briefing before entering the porch, and nobody is allowed to question the dog’s paperwork because he has a stamp.

Why This Matters

This matters because ordinary errands become public institutions when one person, one pet or one group chat is given too much confidence.

Deeper Context

The family has adopted a new rule: reread the original message before ordering supplies. The rule has not yet been tested.
